A good saving.
I had noticed a streak in the middle of the drivers side wiper blade arc, this slowly got worse to the point of affecting visibility. I cleaned the windscreen thoroughly thinking there was wax or grease on the screen. This did not improve things so fitted new wiper blades and again no improvement. At this point I thought okay next thing is the wiper arm. So looked at the price from Renault (nearly fell over) £80+ for the arm, e=bay also showed the arm at £75+ then I noticed the advert for replacement bearings. There are a few out there but this one caught my eye as it provided both the pilot drill and the final drill and a spare of each for almost £9.00. At only 10% of the new arm price I ordered a set which arrived quickly with directions to a video on youtube on how to fit. This was easy ... This was easy to do the only tool I had to buy was a puller for the wiper arm, this was also used to remove the inner part of the bearing. When I broke the bearing off mine was full of rust dust and very worn bearings. Once fitted and tried clear vision instantly, I put the old blades back on which still work perfectly. All round a great buy and in less than an hour problem solved.
