I was frustrated with the existing thermostat housing which has been leaking through the gasket for quite some time. I have changed the gasket 5 times, using JB weld to repair the pitting on the housing and even put on the goo. None of these measures work. I then decided to replace the housing. After replacing with this product, no more leaking and no more goo required. I highly recommend this product.
