High Attenuation
This cable seems to have more attenuation than other brand cables of the same length, causing frequent signal drop-out from my Airport-Express. I works OK with my Chromecast audio, which has a stronger optical signal. I wasted a lot of time figuring out what was wrong and getting to this work-around.

Didn't work for me
After googling around was lead to believe this lead could plug into my stereo from X Box so could have sound through an external stereo / speakers. Maybe it's not made for that and to be fair it's the stupid X Box's fault for not having a stereo phono/rca output for audio. So have no clue what this lead is actually for but didn't work for me.
