    Temporary fix???

    I bought this repair as I am a bit reluctant to pay stupid prices for a new linkage. It is listed as a temporary fix, but after installing the clip and seeing how robust it is, I will be very surprised if it doesn't outlast the rest of the linkage. I'm pretty confident that this little temporary fix will turn out to be a permanent fix.
