Assembly and connection
Fiddly to wire if you are using multi core cable. Earth connection obscured by the clip to hold the cable cover and connecting both in and out connections is tricky in the space you are left with. I found it best to connect all wires before fixing the assembled unit to the wall ... not always possible I suspect. Ok generally but not easy to fit if location is restricted say in a cylinder cupboard. It works well allowing 15 minute time periods to be selected which you cannot do with the units that rely on a peg to select the time function.Fiddly to wire if you are using multi core cable. Good value
Easy to install and works well, quiet clock. The small On/Off/Timed switch is rather stiff to operate, so I wouldn't feel confident of durability if changing this every day, however as it is only an immersion back-up to a gas boiler I would rarely need to do so.
