    Good quality and works great

This probe tester works very well. It is well made and very easy to use. Just plug it in the tube socket, plug the tube and plug the connectors in your multi-meter set to read current and you have an accurate plate current measurement. I really like it because it saves a lot of time!

  • Easy way to check your amps bias.

Seems to be built well enough. It has the standard tube alignment pin, so if it's not forced, it should be fine. A nice and easy way to check your amps bias, without taking it apart and exposing yourself to high voltage.

  • It works, no instructions, be careful

This Bias Probe didn't come with any instructions. Use it to measure current, not voltage. Here is how to use it. 1. Install your power tube into the Bias Probe socket (be careful) the center hole and guide are too large, so it's possible to misalign the guide pin. 2. Then install the Bias Probe (with tube inserted) into you amp socket. 3. Connect the Bias Probe leads to your multi-meter's milliamp connections and set up the meter to read 100 mA - 200mA scale. 4. Power up your amp and let it warm up. Read the milliamps off you meter and make the adjustment. For more information, Google, Eurotubes Bias Probe Instructions.
