Assembly
Good item , however if a packing list had been enclosed it would have been a lot easier . There are 3 connectors - 2 of one type and 1 other - easy to connect them incorrectly. Took 30 minutes to get set up when really it should have been faster . Nevertheless it is probably the best make available .

Leaks constantly
Initial set up was fine, although the instructions were confusing, I managed to find a youtube video for this product which made assembly easier. After a few days we noticed that the reel became incredibly difficult, I'm not weak but it reached a point that I literally couldn't wind up the hose. We fully unreeled the hose as water was pouring out from the internal connection, we disconnected it and reattached thinking maybe had inserted in wrong, it did get easier to reel up the hose, although it still got stuck a few times. We tried the water again and it just blows the hose out of the connector and water gets everywhere. Easy to remove and store for winter
When first opening the box I thought that there had been a screw up and parts left out, however all the pieces are cleverly packed away inside the unit in bags. Remove the hose and all the contents will be available. The instructions at first seem confusing as there is quite a bit of assembly required, read the instructions until it becomes clear how to assemble it, confusing at first but eventually quite simple. Once assembled it is a straight forward fix of the wall brackets, be aware when hung on the wall the unit does not swing aside and lay back flat to the wall, so if installing in a narrow passage you may have to remove to get past it. This is the case for me as while I can walk past it once hung I cannot get my mobility scooter past, however as it is so easy to remove with a simple ... The hose is not frost proof so you will have to store in a shed / garage during the winter which due to the easy fitting and removal also isn't an issue. All in all I am pleased with the unit, I previously had a Hozelock auto recoil which never wind up easily, this unit though hand operated does wind up very easily and is half the price of the automatic recoil one.

Good and easy to stow away
I bought this to use on my allotment and to stow in my shed there where space is at a premium. It is easy to use and quick to roll back into the casing, so just the job for my needs. Not especially cheap, but I have had one of these before and they are pretty sturdily built, so you pay for what you get. On the whole a good and handy to use product.

It’s a hose that stows away.
It’s a hose that does the job you would expect it to do. It comes with everything necessary to fit it to a wall, connect it to a tap and commence watering your garden. The housing, connectors and wall fixings are all constructed from robust plastic. Wall mounting is straight forward and operation is typical of a hose. I found the spray nozzle to be too basic to bother with. I use a multi function head with trigger grip. The winding of the hose after use us somewhat clumsy and, for me, counter intuitive. This is because the instructions indicate that you fit the handle in place before you proceed with fixing the housing on the wall. Because of the location I chose for my installation I put the handle on the right hand side. This means I have to turn the handle towards me to wind the hose ...
