I took them to a cobbler shortly after I had them had him put a 3/16 neoprene heel adapter to cushion the steps and a little hard on your heels walking on concrete. Only thing I'd change. And the leather smell is really strong for a spell. I dusted mine with baking powder inside and then Ransom wood vinegar and water and then rerenst them with fresh water and set them out to dry. Nice
