I purchased these to help removed sheared machine screws. The flat nose and profiled jaws help get a better grip on a sheared screw with only a couple mm showing. It's not what it's designed for and can't perform miracles, but with a better grip when other pliers they have proven useful. I've not had them long, but the durability and quality out the box is good especially for the price.

Small, lightweight, but still tough and very functional!
The best pliers I used before! The best thing in this pliers is the special notching at working surface. Using them I easily remove two PH2 screws with ripped slot on the head. The small unconvenient thing is absent of special lever to unclench (disengage) the pliers. Must have in all automotive services!

These grips worked like a charm :-I have some normal mole grips which would not grip for this job, I needed to remove some rusted slot head screws from rain downspout brackets, access was difficult as they were in a corner but got the screws out without damaging the plastic brackets ! They saved me a lot of hassle, I think I might buy the larger version now for larger screws.
