They all had some green growth and the roots were cool and moist in the hand. Roots were mostly about four to six inch long and easily spread in the hole---none were entangled. I intend to use the strawberry as an understory (ground cover) for my apricot to attract pollinators and attract birds from the tree fruit. While using some for-morning cereal. My soil has alot of rotted leaf mold, decomposing old branches.
