This aerial is well made, easy to use and comes with good instructions. BUT, it is not a super sensitive device, the "80 miles" claim must be taken as a maximum in the most favourable circumstances not a typical one in normal circumstances. It could not give me a usable TV signal 30 miles out, though it does provide an excellent Dab signal for my sound system.

Looks good, and comes with everything you need. But unfortunately didn’t work or pick up any channels at all... followed the set up instructions, placing it in window as preferred place to pick up signal. And many other numerous positions. But couldn’t pick up a single channel unfortunately. Used the amplifier in the end which was plugged in via the usb. Still no joy. Retuned again and again when moving it around to try and pick up a signal but no luck. Certainly not saying this won’t work in someone’s else’s house... read through all reviews before purchasing this and some looked very promising! But I wasn’t so lucky. But quick delivery and looked good quality. Shame, but had to give 2 stars only for it not working at all 😓

I bought this because I wanted to avoid a long cable and it works perfectly. It was easy to set up, you cannot really miss which plug goes where. I used the amplifier and did not even have to reconfigure the channels (although recommended). We use it in a ground floor flat not facing toward the nearest transmitter station, so first I was a bit worried about the signal strength but it turned out I should not have to. It is not even placed onto the window but I hid near the TV on the top of a bookcase. Despite of this, I would highly recommend to check the nearest transmitter station distance because I think it matters a lot. In my case it is ~7 miles but you can easily check from a map on the Ofcom page (or search for "Television transmitter location maps" on the Internet).

I have previously very goodpaid a lot more for a similar product. This works just as well and also includes a signal amp as well. Try this one first as there is no need to by a more expensive version. George
