Great device for the health conscious, you may get a surprise!
Really handy little device, compact and easy to use. The only not so good thing, the strips can be expensive when you require more. Detected high cholesterol in the partner, which we monitored and brought down in a very short time, otherwise we would never have known.

Readings are greatly incorrect
Purchased this kit as I was getting foot pain (big toe) and thought that it may be gout. After using the kit for a month and gathering the results, which were all similar and high (circa 10), I booked in at the gp practice and was given a proper blood test. Having received the results I can see that I've wasted a month recording bad data, lost money in the process, need to get a proper diagnosis as gout is out of the question. Note that my gp blood results showed my uric acid at the very bottom of the acceptable range. I'm now off for an xray of my foot. Easy Life Digitall Meter Test Kit
Follow the instructions or, much easier, watch a youtube video (search for "Easy Life Meter") and it works pretty well. The lance-unit is harmless - less effective than your tame mosquito and could do with further settings 6,7, and 8 in order to produce an usable amount of blood from thicker skin. If all fails, there is still the axe in the shed :-)
