Hook up socket
The hook up socket on my 2005 campervan needed replacing. I found this one on eBay at a reasonable price and I was very pleased to see that it was of very good quality with plenty of security features. The fact that it fitted perfectly was a bonus. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

This item is rated as IP44. As such it is not suitable for external use in the rain! Slight rain shower the other day and the internal electrical connections were dripping in water. Unfit for purpose!!

Good replacement for damaged or old fittings.
Good product, easy to fit....this hookup socket looks well made and the spring shut flap keeps the flap closed but as an added bonus the flap clicks when pressed to secure the flap and to stop water Ingres. These facts are very important for any electrical fitting that is used in a rainy environment. Delivery was very quick especially due to current Covid - 19 restrictions.
