Changes readings constantly!
I bought this as a spare as I had run out of strips for my other meter. Wish I had not bothered. Testing one blood sample on two machines (old one and this) gives wildly different readings. As much as 6 points difference! Thought I was just mistaken so did three separate test strips from one finger on just this machine - three different readings again. How? The only positive thing was this pack came with extra lancets and a much nicer finger pricker than my old one. DisappointedI bought this as a spare as I had run out of strips for my other meter. AN HONOURABLE SELLING COMPANY BUT AN INACCURATE PRODUCT
I am not diabetic but have to be careful. I was concerned about the first reading of 7.9 and took another reading a week later on the same morning I had an NHS blood test at hospital. The Glucolab gave 7.4 and the hospital reading was 5.7. After a long talk with the company they collected the unit with two hours refunded the whole purchase price and supplied another make and model which I have not yet used.I am not diabetic but have to be careful.
