received ecc85 tubes; very well packed for safe arrival. Curious ,are these tubes in fact Tungsram tubes as 3 tubes have the little metal date code tag on the anode assembly. they don't appear to have the typical Ei date codes, actually, none at all. This is of no consequence; these tubes are destined for my EAR 549's which I purchased from Paravicini in the mid 80's currently using Ei ecc83 and early vintage Mullard ecc 85, your ecc85 tubes supplied appear very well made. thankyou William
