Best rust treatment available in the UK...
Of the rust treatments available in the UK this is the best - however, it does not compare to those products available from the USA, if you really want the most effective I have to recommend "Krud Kutter" by Rustoleum, it is astoundingly effective, unfortunately not available in the UK - unless you're happy to give the UK Treasury a huge percentage...this is not to denegrate Jenolite however, it is the best available in the UK, a friend of mine treated his Morris Minor van with it and followed up with Waxoyl, only place it ever rusted after that were the porrly designed drip rails on the roof...Of the rust treatments available in the UK this is the best - however, it does not compare to those products available from the USA, if you really want the most effective I have to recommend "Krud Kutter" by Rustoleum, it is astoundingly effective, unfortunately not available in the UK - unless you're happy to give the UK Treasury a huge percentage...this is not to denegrate Jenolite however, it is the best available in the UK, a friend of mine treated his Morris Minor van with it and followed up with Waxoyl, only place it ever rusted after that were the porrly designed drip rails on the roof...

Not as good as the original.
This new Jenolite product is weaker than the old one and works very slowly. You have to repeat three or four times and still not totally gone - the original Jenolite did it in 2 applications and all gone in 10 minutes. Too weak.

I always recommend it to friends
This is an excellent product. It deals with rust instantly - you can see results straight away. You don't have to wash it before painting. I have used it for many years. About 2 years ago I renovated a 40 year old Benford 1 tonne dumper which was badly rusted. I used it for about 6 years renovating a house and then sold it.

Reliable rust treatment
I have used Jenolite on and off for a few years and, provided you take the worst of the rust off first with wire brush or similar, and follow the instructions given with the product, then the results are pretty good. As with all these types of product, the result is as good as the effort that you are prepared to put in.
