Dispatch and delivery fine. Company really good to deal with. The product however was shockingly bad. Very flimsy. Ended up in the bin as bent during build process. Don’t waste your money!

Easy to erect; great to use.

I've had this frame for about 18 months now and it is just fine. When my daughter asked for a cold frame for her birthday I knew just which one to get her, so I've just bought another one. Regarding other reviewers' criticisms, yes it is very light (it's made of poly carbonate, of course it's light!). Just put some bricks on the spars or screw it down for goodness sake. Yes it's flimsy until it is put together but then it's as rigid as you like. Most people say they have had a nightmare putting it together, need 9 hands, engineering degree, instructions no good etc. It took me about 2.5 hours, by myself, following the reasonably drawn instructions; what were you people doing? It's easy peasy and has worked and lasted well.

  • Most critical review

It is not a raised bed or a greenhouse. It is a Cold Frame. Certainly Lightweight.

"We've made it quick and easy" they say. It is neither quick nor easy to assemble. Instructions are all diagrammatic and very difficult to follow. Leaflet states "at least 25 mins for assembly". It took me an hour and a half just to work out what all the components are and how to fix. Altogether it took all day. I could probably put another one together now in about 3 - 4 hours. Very tricky and complicated. There are 71 parts to it excluding screws. States that Silicone sealant is require but no details as to where to put it. End result is OK - probably would be less flimsy if I had used silicone. Instructions need to be improved and written in good English that people could understand rather than complicated diagrams.

  • 'WILL SEND YOU INSANE' !!!!

Well, were to start. This looks like an amazin 'Cold Frame ' and probably might well be.I have lost 6 days of my life trying to assemble this thing and still not got it together. No written instruction only diagrams that do not make any sense untill you try it your own way. I put one lid (window) together, one lid took 2hrs to get it right. So now I no how to do that bit I took away the parts needed to assemble the rest of the lids, No clear markings on the bits to assemble. I have now been on 6 days and eventually cot the base together, again trial and error. Now I am putting the panels in with my 8 pair of hands ( most of the frame is extreamly hard click together and it seems like none of the bits fit, the plastic joints that the frame click into are extreamly tight. As there are no ...

  • It works kinda but its great for the price

First off this is not builder friendly and has no worded instructions, the bars slot into plastic brackets and you think you can just push them in the side grooves because they look tapered, NO they must be put in from the top or you break the retainer pins putting the last bits on eg. the top frame was a nightmare, it was kind of whack it and hope for the best because it didn't want to sit in at all The disadvantage of polycarbonate sheeting on the sides is that if anything collides or leans on it it may be damaged quickly so you need to treat this with care The lids can end up slightly wonky because the roof catches can move, you might want to think about fixing these in place or when it rains its gonna seep through. The lids also have nothing to stop them going all the way back and when ...

  • Worse thing I’ve ever bought!!!

Windows are a very week plastic, frame is very weak but that not the worse part, the worse part is assembling it, this is the worse thing I’ve ever assemble in my life and I’m quite good at assembling things, I was fuming with this thing! They was no way I could set it up by the instructions, it just wouldn’t line up, had to take it all apart and set it up upside down and had to get wife to help, which was a argument in itself, they delivered me a nightmare in a box!!!
