    Best £1 I ever spent

    I got several copies (2 I think only £1 each) because I'd already bought one from the hospital charity bookstall as I'm a hospital volunteer. The others were for my nephews, both of whom are overweight and one of whom asked for it, with a few spares. Okay I'm wasn't what you'd call overweight myself, 5'1" (down from 5'3"; am 73) and was in recent years hovering around 9 st., and am currently around 8 st 7 lbs, due to Dukan, Not constant use of Dukan, even modified Dukan, I add, but really only a few days' worth in 2 goes. Point is, I didn't put it back on, and am slimmer than throughout my entire adult life. In fact I haven't even finished the book. Very full medical explanations and recipes, but the gem is the diet itself. Even the first 'radical' phase gives you a wide choice - I only ...

    Dropping kgs

    An excellent book, very readable and everything makes good sense. Lots of advice and food suggestions to help you to stay with it. This is the second time I have tried this diet. First time I lost 3 stones. I have already lost 1 stone in 4 weeks. The daily walk is essential. Highly recommended.
