    Brand new CE-marked motor/fan unit manufactured by 'FIME'

    Fitted directly in place of the original fan on Swiftflow 80, boiler working correctly again. Had to bend the spade terminals slightly to ensure the wiring did not foul the hot boiler casing: the motor seems to sit at a slightly different angle on the mounting plate when compared with the original unit. The only reason I have not given it a 5-star rating is because it has only been fitted a couple of weeks ago and I have no way of knowing how long it will last (previous genuine Glowworm fans costing well over £100 have barely lasted two years because of poor quality bearings, let's hope this FIME product lasts longer!)

    A lot less than buying a 200 pound like foe like product Re adjust the self tapper screws and install on original plate Nothing to it Specially if the boiler itself is very old but still in good condition

    Looks OK

    I haven't fitted it yet but it looks like the right part. I usually put some loctite superlube oil on the bearings before I install, it runs quieter and lasts longer.
