    A gift

    This unit was a gift to a young learning guitar player. It has been very much enjoyed. As well as a first time learning tool. His instructor was impressed with the features of small neck, low profile string throw, and sound tones. For a first time guitar with Amp, it has more than been money well spent. I may have another Eric Clapton on my hands.

    You get what you pay for.

    I had to do a major tune up to make it playable. The neck strut was too tight and caused a bow in the neck. The frets needed to be levelled. The intonation was way off. The amp is useable but the "overdrive" button is useless. I purchased a $30 special effects plug in synthesiser to create good "buzz."

    Worth the money and time.

    everything is there. Pretty good quality. Lots of new guitars require dressing the fret ends, this one included. This has to be done first thing or you will cut your hands and fingers. So just be careful. Once this has been done it is very playable. The amp is better than I expected. Not a bad setup especially for the price. And the paint looks great.

    Flawless

    I'm not exactly an expert in guitars (this is my first one) but this guitar has served me as a standalone guitar with the amp it comes with and for use with Rocksmith 2014 perfectly. It might be a little too sensitive, I'm not sure. And it should really have some sort of guideline unto it's 4 or 5 unnamed "modes". But otherwise, for the price your paying and for the guitar your getting + the bundle and the amp that is loud and works perfectly, this is an awesome deal

    Very good, amp could use more knobs, but very good

    It is my first electric, but I think it is really good. The amp does not have a gain or mid knob, but it does have bass, treble and a little button that says drive (probably a built in overdrive pedal). Thg is is a little disappointing, but it's a cheap standalone so no hard feelings. The guitar itself has a 5 Setting pickup selector, so that is awesome. I Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a good time starting to play guitar.
