    Great product

    I have a parasitic battery drain on my MX5 that’s proving difficult to identify so bought and fitted this in 5 mins. Does the job and easy to use. Keeps battery in tip top condition whilst parked up.

    Good idea, poorly executed

    Didn't fit Battery Terminal very well due to tapered shape. Metal surfaces furred up very quickly and gave poor connection. Unit was cleaned but still caused a restriction in power so that car wouldn't always start. Garage Mechanic confirmed Unit causing Electrical restriction. Now removed and safely placed in bin.

    Richbrook immobiliser

    Being used on an Alfa 916s spider fitted one week ago. Have had odd issues with functions draining battery especially over winter. On occasions ECUs need reset involving disconnect battery for min 30mins. Very easy to use easy disconnect for ECU just switched back on all resolved. Previously disconnected earth terminal and discovered even slight looseness of connection will ensure starter will not turn over. No problem now Will provide added security especially when car put off road over winter. Very very pleased,

    Simple Battery Safety Cutout

    This is such a simple idea, and I have used this product on all my vehicles for many years now. Easy to fit and effective in operation with just a twist of the knob cutting the power safely. These modern units come with a separate fused cable to maintain essential supplies for radio memory etc., which is again a good idea as modern cars rely so much on continuity of supply. Also I have always liked the security idea of being able to walk away from the car with the unscrewed knob in my pocket as it would take a determined and very brazen thief to spend the time tracing just why the car wouldn't start! All that would happen is that the inline fuse in the cable would blow, leaving him sitting there scratching his head...perfect. It really is a perfect product at a perfect price too.
