I had to return this item a Honeywell diverter valve that cost £89 inc postage. My contractor wouldn’t fit the item as he wanted to get from his own supplier, and the discount to him no doubt. Replacement of defective diverter valve with an original quality Vaillant component
I was very impressed with the Diverter Valve when it arrived as it was obviously an original Vaillant part of excellent quality. The engineer found that it was a straightforward fit once the defective part had been removed and said that the job had been made even easy as a special extended screw was provided with the installation kit facilitating fitment where access is restricted. I now have hot water when needed. An excellent result.I was very impressed with the Diverter Valve when it arrived as it was obviously an original Vaillant part of excellent quality. simply............ does the job..!
So easy to install...took me 8 minutes from after draining the boiler to be up and running. Comes with everything you need. Ok there are repair kits out there but this being full and original you know its going to do the job first time..& £80 ish every ten years ain't so sad!

Easy to follow instructions. Took 30 mins to do & saved a fortune. DIY job with no experience but chuffed to bits doing it. Wife thinks I’m a hero....for now 😂. Hot water 🚿 again. There are those who question the tools required, but without great knowledge I’d say they are essential & more than cover the cost of spending £250 plus for a plumber. Worth every penny in my book
