I've been using this product for years. Clean off any loose rust and grease; take it back to firm (but rusted) metal as best you can. Needle scalers are great on areas such as a vehicle chassis. Paint with Jenolite. Paint it on evenly but thinly and work it into all the cracks and crevices. Let it dry. Paint/spray with primer/chassis paint or whatever you want. *** BRITISH MADE *** Be *very* careful where you buy this from, as there are some real crooks out there. Calculate the cost per gramme (or cost per ml) when shopping around, as some people are really at it. I've seen prices in the past few days between 1.5 and 17 pence per gramme, depending upon quantity. Think about that variation. Read the sales description very carefully. Good product. Does not fully convert to black though.
I think the product is good - only time will tell. However it does not leave a full blackened surface as advertised. After a couple of applications, it still leaves prple, white, grey, orange spots and not a uniform black surface as one would expect.
