An American FBI agent is lured away by the Japanese Mafia--the Yakuza--in this wall-to-wall action film.     Yakuza verses the Mob

    I enjoyed this movie about the Yakuza and the Mob. Lots of action, good looking women and or course violence. The actors and actresses were great in their roles. I can watch this movie again and again. The DVD arrived on time with no issues.

    Learning the Lifestyle of a Yakuza

    Viggo Mortensen plays the "American Yakuza" in another great portrayal by the actor. He is undercover to find out why there is a war going on between a Mafia group and a Japanese group identified as the "yakuza". A former con, Viggo saves the life of a Japanese businessman, who takes him under his wing. The result is Viggo becomes fascinated with being a businessman and the Yakuza lifestyle. He falls for a Japanese woman too. Conflict arises when his FBI boss (played by Robert Forster) decides to take punitive action. I really enjoyed this movie and the story behind it. Lots of action and a surprise ending.
