These things really work!
I am really happy with this stove fan, it is quite good looking and it is silent in operation .. there is nothing to do, just plonk it on top of the stove and away it goes. It also makes a noticeable draught, so basically it really does make a difference to the way the heat circulates around the room. The one think I would like to be able to do, but can't, is to compare it directly with other fans .. Vanquish themselves make a cheaper 4-blade fan which may be comparable, don't know. But I do recommend this one, it is an excellent, foolproof product. Do try moving it around to different places on the stove, it can make quite a difference. My stove vent is at the back, not on top, which means the fan can go anywhere on top. whichever point on top is hottest is best. I recommend you also buy ... Really works. Well designed. Very pleased as I was unsure pre-purchase
Wanting to maximise the benefit of my new stove, but as a potentially expensive gamble, I purchased the fan unsure whether it would truly push warm air into my room from my Clearview stove which is set inside the recess of a fireplace. It does. There is not a gale, but you can feel a light warm air stream in a line from the fan and our large room warms more quickly than before. The marble lintel and mantlepiece are noticeably cooler than before because the air is pushed out into the room rather than just rising up out of the recess to hit the underneath of the mantlepiece. It is well made, looks fine on the top at the rear left ( not spoiling the look too much), angled so that the air traverses over the long diagonal of the stove top), starts at 50C and works fine up to the highest ... My wife can't hear it running, but I can. It depends on whether you can hear the high pitch of a fast running fan, but I don't find it obtrusive. The stove airflow is louder and both repetitive noises are cut out by my brain after a while. So I am pleased. I have given 4 stars because this is category is "Better than expected". The five star category is "amazing", which its price just stops me short of giving. Probably a little harsh by me.

IT WORKS!
A well built and sturdy device which functions exactly as it should. By moving the warm air produced by the log burner around the room, a more even heat is obtained. Works best on stovetops which are absolutely flat.

Good fan if you have the space
It works well from low temperatures and the air flow is significantly greater than my other stove fan. It makes slightly more noise but it is hardly noticeable

Excellent stove fan
I was sceptical at first, too many stove fans on the market, after some research I decided to buy this product. The valiant vanquish 250 is well built, quiet and blow’s the heat out to our large living room. Would recommend.
