A good film for Terminator's fans.

This may not be as awesome as the first and the second films. As one of Terminator fans, it is enjoyable. T-X is more deathly than T-1000 and T-800 according to the comic books. Her endoskeleton provides range weapons, which T-1000 doesn't have. However, Jonathan made John Connor looks stupid. John didn't prove his abilities of the human leader, for example, hacking and weaponry.

  • Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines - One Disc Edition

The third outing for this popular franchise, saw a change of director, however James Cameron was still involved with the script writing. Compared to the last two film this would be the weaker of the trilogy. However it's still a good film and once you have seen the first two, obviously you're going to see the conclusion. Plot summary: After failing twice, to kill the young John Connor. Skynet sends a more up to date Terminator (T-X) to to eliminate him and his future wife. As with the previous films John learns of Skynet's plans and modifies a old terminator unit to protect his younger self. As with this was the One Disc edition obviously not much room for extras. If you're looking for value try the Trilogy boxset, which has all three films and a host of extras.

  • Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines

Director Johnathon Moston gets the job of attempting to follow in the footsteps of the previous two superb movies here. He attempts to inject some humour into the series here but sadly this only serves to offer up a film which lacks the menace & suspense that had made Terminator films what they were. Largely the feeling one is left with is that you have seen it all before & that very little if anything has been done to progress the story line. Picking up the story 10 years after the events of T2 the simplistic plot is very disappointing in itself but the lack of any really new special effects to those previously seen in these films is unforgivable. Yes we have the new T-X Terminator (Kristanna Loken), a female version, who can direct other machines via remote control but this has no WOW ...
