    Good - works as it should.

    Love it when review options say 'amazing'...just not British that. Look, it gets 5 stars because it actually works and came in genuine packaging. It's been in the car a week and hasn't blown up yet. The last one lasted at least the 8yrs I've had the car so if it doesn't do that, I'll be back! One thing in case others get this - the original that came out had 3 prongs along 1 side and slightly different circuit diagram. The new one only has 2 prongs...I only noticed this when I came to fit it and could compare old with new. After the usual car maintenance cursing, thinking I've got a duff part, some additional internet research (again), I couldn't see any others with these 3 prongs so fitted it anyway to see what didn't work. Nothing, all fine. So, WTF? Who cares, it all works...!

    Not all there

    The unit had the central contact blade missing from the normal group of three that is present on the old unit. As a consequence the fan motor only works on positions 2 & 3, not on 1. This is annoying but having fitted it and replaced the glove box I was not inclined to take it out again. Obviously not what I ordered.
