Our new Defender deterrent has been in place for about a week and in that time our neighbours cats, 3 or 4 of them, no longer visit our garden. It is early days but the effect has been remarkable. We now enjoy our small lawned area without first having to clear it of numerous foul smelling droppings. We previously used a Defenders battery operated deterrent in a larger area with complete success which persuaded us to choose Defenders again, this time trying the solar powered version. Our only niggle is that if I remember correctly the old one had a clear on and off switch whereas the new one has a push button operation with which we have some difficulty knowing whether the unit is on or off. Get them cats !!
Works ok... I can hear the high pitched sound when you pass the device ... testing it... it is in situ, and activates still waiting to see if it is 100 % the real deal ... but looks hopeful as haven't seen any Poop since I launched it ... so fingers crossed !

Good but not good enough for our problem cat
Has really good reviews so thought we would give it a go as all other things we tried has failed. The cat we have a problem with avoided it for 2 days then on the 3rd day looked at it and walked right past it grrrr.

Seems to be working....
Since buying this scarer, next door’s cat seems to have stopped using our flowerbeds as a toilet, am surprised and pleased that it appears to work. Looks unobtrusive and can easily be moved around the garden if necessary.
