    My '73 Karmann Ghia Coupe still has her original crossply Whitewall spare tyre fitted, (Well she has only covered 28990 miles from new!!!!). A trip to Holland at the end of the month means I must have a good modern spare tyre, just in case, so this superb quality dutch made tyre will be fitted onto my other brand new spare 15" wheel for my classic VW. Compared to other period correct tyres out there, my purchase IS a good value buy IMHO. As for appearance? Well it looks like a circa 1973 tyre!

    Nice Price Claasic Tyre

    Purchased as the original cross-ply spare tyre on my 1973 Karmann Ghia was getting on a bit. Period correct looking and good value compared to Michelin and Pirelli classic tyres.

    Great tyres for a classic

    The tyre is great,I got it for the spare wheel and to match the other 4 that I purchased a few weeks ago, they really do make the car more responsive, no tyre road noise well worth the price, very good road handling, if they last like the ones I replaced I will be very happy.
