excellent tool, not super powerful but it is only need for trimming. I use an electric Hedge trimmer for that. It doesn't come with a battery. The change to the hedge trimmer attachment is tricky. You have to remove the Drive spindle and reverse it. Not so clear in the manual but when you do this its fine. Makita tools are excellent.
