    CROOKLYN vol.2

    There have been many soundrack albums offering songs that we really like and others that we can do without, rarely do we get a collection thats "filler" free. Gladly this set represents what movie goers crave, a memorable film backed by a twice as memorable sountrack. Every song on this disc brings back memories of both the film and the decade in which the songs were originally released. From SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE'S encouraging words of self motivation("Everybody is a star") to the STAPLE SINGERS gospel fused " I'll take you there" each track sucessfuly illustrates the stuggle of what was inner city New York in the early seventies. From the JACKSON FIVE to the DELFONICS take it from someone who was there, this disc is the real..and worth every penny.
