      ALL IS NOT LOST

      After misplacing my original towball safety ball insert shortly after I bought a new hitchlock, I purchased this item. It is very similar to the original. It differs in colour and handle shape but still does the same job. I have no complaints as regards its suitability. The annoying factor being that I found my original shortly after I had purchased this. Still, I now have a spare!

      Good and useful product - recommended.

      This is a useful product to allow any lockable 50mm ball hitch to be better secured whilst trailer or caravan is detached from towing vehicle. Used with a piece of cloth or hand wiping paper, it ensures user can keep hands clean whilst hitching off or hitching on. Downside is, that user must remember to remove the unit BEFORE reversing right up to hitch, or the ball on the towing vehicle will shear off the triangular handle - but that is no more than taking care and thinking about what you are doing.
