    Fantastic quality item

    I bought this ratchet to replace the original one in a socket bit set which no longer functions as it should. This one is far superior to the old one as it operates smoothly and efficiently when tightening or undoing nuts, bolts, screws etc. It is obviously well engineered and it should last for a long time. I can definitely recommend this product.

    Excessive back-drag

    I have 4 quarter inch ratchet, this is the one with the highest back-drag. In fact, put this ratchet on the table with the quarter inch drive facing up, I can spin this ratchet by turning the round wheel where it is supposed to be set on ratcheting. Tried dip this ratchet in 5w30 engine oil, also tried grease all the internal part with lithium grease, still no improvement. At the end of the day, it is a good value 100 teeth and decently strong ratchet. However, it is missing one of the key component to make it a good functional ratchet.

    Blue spot 1/4" ratchet.

    Great product at a very good price. This ratchet has 100 teeth, so it has a very smooth motion. It requires very little movement to find the next tooth, so it is very good in tight spaces when used in the engine bay especially.
