It works very well. Not genuine though....different design and materials. In the pictures,the genuine OEM version is on the left and this replacement is on the right.I'd say this is false advertising but it is functional and solves a problem. Also, this is ebay and lots of stuff gets advertised as genuine. Delivered quickly. 4/5.

Good replacement item
Daughter broke original remote control. This is excellent as a replacement and with the OK button in the middle of the cursor circle is better designed than the original. Not convinced it is genuine Hitachi but it works so who cares?
