A smell to bring back memories
It was 1980 and I was studying for a year in Belgium. I bought a perfume called Mademoiselle Ricci in a green box and it smelled divine! But couldn't get it anywhere once I came home (no Internet then!) But even with the advent of Google, it still proved impossible. Nina Ricci then brought out a 'new' scent of the same name but that was all they had in common! I'd all but given up, when I decided to try Silences on spec via the Internet. Got such a pleasant surprise! It was like 35 years had rolled away & I was 21(&slim) again (if I cover the mirrors, I can pretend a bit longer!!)
