Against the background of a distinctive Lowland society transformed by commercializing and Anglicizing influences in the years after Scotland's union with England, the author traces the establishment of the East Jersey colony in 1683 and its spread westward to incorporate the whole of the New York to Philadelphia corridor. Originally published in 1985.     The item was sold as NEW (SEALED). it was carefully and thoughtfully wrapped with cardboard cut to size to protect the DVD and bubble wrap around it. I have not opened the sealed DVD yet but wanted to comment the seller for the excellent care he provided.     Arrived in timely fashion. Condition as advertised. When I sell and ship books I mail them in a cardboard box. I would like to see TPB with some cardboard for stiffness especially when mailed in bubble mailer to keep book from being tweaked during shipping.
