I asked politely for the seller to cancel my order just minutes after it was placed and apologised to them for the inconvenience. Seller argued the toss - I replied that I still need to cancel, as he uses c**p delivery services. He's never replied, and is acting the a**e in refusing to communicate further..

Ebay and the seller were useless. I had to go to Paypal to get my money back. No sensible reply came from seller regarding my timely cancellation request. Ebay aid and abet bad sellers to break the law by allowing them to refuse. Refusal counts ONLY if item in post already.
Note - "Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations: Your right to cancel an order for goods made at a distance starts from the moment you place your order." - Ebay's T'&C's cannot overule UK Law, though they pretend otherwise.
