These sketchbooks are beautiful and will be filled with art and will be thrown in my bag and come on travels with me. The imperfections are just part of their character and charm and mean that I don't have to be precious with them. They are exactly as described, sturdy and very serviceable. The paper will take watercolours and ink without bleeding through. The leather is thick and the whole design is well thought out. I love the ankh symbol. They arrived well packaged and quickly.
