    • Good movie but terrible picture

This is a great movie, probably Steve Martin's best. Unfortunately, the picture and sound on this ancient non-anamorphic widescreen DVD are pretty terrible.

    • LA Story (1991) DVD

Awesome Steve Martin movie. I replaced worn out VHS copy with slightly used DVD bought here.

    • Fun lighthearted comedy/romance

A Very fun comedy/love story with Steve Martin. And a “period piece” from 90’s L A

    • Hilarious romantic comedy, with a bite!

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. After living in Los Angeles for the last six years, I realize how en pointe Martin is in his depiction of that rare, bizarre city; he also hits his mark when talking about love. And for those of you who cringe at Martin's "Cheaper by the Dozen" fiascoes, etc., rest assured that this is a mature work for the comedian which has lost none of his customary bite or wit. Enjoy.
