Danger looms in the seaside community of Amity as a dangerous great white shark threatens the town in "Jaws." In this film, director Steven Spielberg places Chief Brody (Roy Scheider), the town's chief of police; Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss), a marine biologist; and Sam Quint (Robert Shaw), a shark hunter on center stage as they embark on a quest to destroy the shark before it kills again. The story evokes terror as it opens viewers to the dangerous encounters of the trio heroes on a deadly mission. Originally released in 1975, Universal Films in conjunction with Steven Spielberg and Amblin Entertainment's post-production team released the film on Blu-ray in 2012.

    This is my wife’s favorite movie. A giant killer shark terrorizing a beach! Who hasn’t heard of this movie, let alone not seen it? It’s a classic with intriguing characters, a great plot, and great effects for the time. Definitely need to add it to any movie collection.

    I never seen Jaws before I bought it on DVD. I watched it and I loved it! The special effects and the acting were incredible. Jaws just turned 50 and it’s still fresh! Anyone who wants to watch a really awesome horror/deep water adventure film should watch Jaws!

    Excitement classic

    jaws has always been one of my favorite films it is definitely a real classic and deserves to be watched over and over. Roy Scheider as Chief Brody is an excellent character and Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss are a threesome that you will never forget in film history. the opening scene with a female swimmer being attacked by the shark and you can't even see that is film genius and will never be forgotten. Long live Jaws 👍😎.
