I ordered the 17 V power adapter for my altec radio , I specifically looked for the 17V voltage because that's what the original adapter was and I wanted that, instead I received a 19V adapter, I contacted the seller and his response was that he had sold a bunch and that it was ok to use 19V adapter on my 17V radio, from experience I know it can damage the components, at this point sending it back for a refund is more a hassle than anything, if it's advertised as 17v, send the 17v adapter.
