Great Comedy Moments
This is a great DVD for lovers of British comedy. The DVD is a compilation of shows primarily from the 60s, 70s and 80s, so some of the younger generation may not appreciate the context, or find the content so amusing as others who can remember the shows originally airing. With a title such as this, it's inevitable that the selection is subjective, and I'm sure everyone will remember many other shows, parts of which would make their own Great Comedy Moments compilation. This DVD had my wife crying with laughter, and she's ethnic Chinese, so it can't be bad, can it?! British humour at it's best!This is a great DVD for lovers of British comedy. very funny
all the best bits the chandelier from only fools and horses four candels(fork handles) the 2 ronnies some from tony hancock and some from till death us do part all very funny and no pc included

A good old laugh!!!
I bought this simply for the "Fork handles" sketch by The Two Ronnies, but it also includes some classic comedy and was well worth buying it!!! Definitely recommended if you like the old stuff.

BBC great comedy moments
As a fan of classic brit sitcoms this was a good example of comedy across the years. Though not all my favourites were there, there is so much good stuff in the archives that it couldnt possibly all go on one CD anyway! I showed this CD to an american friend who wanted to get an idea of british tastes and she found it very useful - she didnt always get the jokes but learned to appreciate the difference between british and american styles. She has also become a bit of a Ronnie Barker fan - a brilliant comedian, sadly missed.As a fan of classic brit sitcoms this was a good example of comedy across the years.
