Excellent book - worth every penny!
Having studied the great tank battles on the eastern front over many years, this book has opened my eyes to the usually hidden to keep their tanks in the field. I must admit; I appreciate problems their engineers faced. There were between factory/supply depots to units in the field, poor transport facilities, and constant lack of available spares, and Panther, Ferdinand and Tiger's 1 * 2 rushed into service without sufficient time to iron out the technical bugs of each new weapons system (there were many).
