So far so good. It functions well with batteries and the shortwave frequency of 255um wavelength produces an outstanding show of colours that are produced by specific minerals that fluoresce certain colours e.g. green Willemite, pink/red Calcite. The light assembly looks very inexpensive but the frequency of UV shortwave that it produces out ways it’s looks.
