Informative and highly recommended
My husband and I both come from a background where discipline was used as punishment and have found this book to be so incredibly helpful in offering new ways to parent. I highly recommend this book to anyone with a preschooler. Our son is 'high spirited' and these techniques work with consistency...plus we feel so good about using positive discipline methods that actually teach him (and us) new ways of handling situations...instead of the 'old school' methods of spankings and punishment that don't really teach children what they 'can' do. I really like this book, this is my second copy for another family member. The hints and tips in the book are priceless and they work. I would recommend this to anyone with little ones in the home.
