    Best value and best built, but needs a redesign to make it portable

    This is the 5th or 6th tablet holder I've purchased for professional use as a musician and the 4th I've bought for my iPad. Speaking just for the iPad holders: -#1 worked fine for the iPad Air but when they redesigned the iPads they made them smaller and this one only works with my iPad Air. -#2 and #3 failed because they couldn't secure my newer iPad (6th Gen, 2017 model) properly and would drop them within 10-15 minutes. Fortunately these are more durable units and survived the falls. -#4 (This one and the subject of the review) does WORK! However folding into my accessory case or backpack presents a problem because it doesn't fold very well and requires a larger bag to make it portable. I've temporarily solved the problem by double-bagging the holder to keep it from breaking during ...

    Thin tablets only

    Excellent clamp to the mic stand. Good range of angle for viewing the tablet. But the little arms that hold the tablet only hold a thin tablet, thick tablets don't fit, and medium tablets need the clamp modified so they will fit. It says designed for iPad, and I didn't use it with an iPad, assuming that they were Universal. They are not.

    Universal iPad holder for mic stand

    I don’t usually like to purchase this type of equipment without seeing it first. I took a chance purchasing this holder and I am very happy I did. it was easy to assemble attaches to my microphone stand and extends away to give you a lot of room and versatility to adjust it so I can clearly see it even while I’m playing my guitar.     Great iPad holder

    I liked this one so much I bought another one. I use an iPad when playing drums. I use one on my practice kit and have one for live situations. They stay locked in place. It's easy to insert and remove the iPad. Made out of good quality materials.

    Crappy Plastic Breaks. You'll have to lube up a 10" tablet to get it to fit.

    Clunky. Too tight for a Samsung 10.1 tablet. Plastic claw system is not adjustable. Don't plan on using this with any tablet in a case. You will have to remove your tablet from said case to use this product. The plastic developed stress cracks and failed. If I could do it again I'd cough up some cash for a more well built and functional device.
