- 395 pp + xv. In German. Assyriologist Carl Bezold's (, 1859-1922) abridged survey of the Babylonian-Assyrian, literature, together with a chronology and an index to the, cuneiform tablets at the British Museum. Bezold was well known, for his work with the British Museum, and was a pioneer in, Babylonian astronomy. A very scarce book. Half leather with, blue marbled boards. Spine is dry and very chipped, with most, of the leather gone, although the gilt title is still present, and quite legible. Interior has normal aging, some foxing, but, otherwise clean and very readable.
