    Motorola 2N5457 better than Fairchild for Analog designs.

    These Motorola branded 2N5457 behave much better, and more like some 45 year old 2N5457 transistors I have, for analog designs (e.g. effects pedals) than a set of Fairchild branded 2N5457s.
