Perfect autofocus with great controls for professionals or amateur alike. Camera just works, put it in A mode if you feel like quick shooting or use it in full manual for full control over your images. Insane value for money

Nikon F90X highly Recommended

The 35mm Bargain of the decade.
An outstanding camera! I have aNikon D90 as well as an F100, but the F90X is still my favourite. For a top-level SLR it's incredibly simple to drive and gives perfect exposure under all sorts of testing conditions. I can easily see why this became a favourite of journalists. I now have three of these, all with the MB-10 battery grip for extra stability. If you're thinking of having one, just get it. You won't go wrong. I prefer it to the F100 because it has less complication. One big AF sensor, easy adjustments and works outstandingly well with the SB-23 speedlight, which is also very cheap now. About all that ever goes wrong on them is the rubbery coating on the film door goes "Sticky" But: It can be removed with a microfibre cloth and plenty of Isopropyl Alcohol. Just keep ... An outstanding camera! I have aNikon D90 as well as an F100, but the F90X is still my favourite. Just keep the cloth well soaked and rub gently. If the cloth starts to stick just apply more alcohol. Ten minutes later I've refitted it and I now have a lovely, smooth new-looking satin finish plastic film door. The alcohol doesn't even remove the printing either, just the tacky clear rubbery coating. It appears that Nikon first mould the film door then silk-screen on the white scene mode icons. After that, they spray on a matt lacquer, presumably to provide a "key" for the rubberised coating, which is applied afterwards. The Isopropyl Alcohol succesfully removes the rubber topcoat without affecting the underlying layers. I hope other users of this excellent Nikon camera find this information helpful.

Nikon F90X
This is one of the very best Nikon film cameras ever made. It has all the features anyone could wish for and the shutter speeds/ metering are particularly good. It is tough enough for top level international photo journalistic work but not too heavy. Mint examples sell for ridiculously low prices but bear in mind that this is not a point and press digital wonder. A Photographers camera!
