UK NEXT DAY DELIVERY took SIX DAYS. TWO days wasted waiting for an item that did not arrive as advised by the seller. I mistakenly thought "Opened but unused" meant item removed from packaging, photographed and returned to packaging. How wrong of me. The manufacturers sticker with the lens number had been removed from the box lid and the box itself had a circular plastic seal attached to the box lid. I had it confirmed from Canon that they DO NOT SEAL BOXES. On the plus side the lens looks ok.
